SOCOMEC S.R.L. (Top Master)

Socomec was born in 1985 in Savignano sul Rubicone (Italy) as a small craft business, dedicated to the production of band saws and long belt sanders.

In the following years, the gradual increase of demand from the market, along with an excellent quality product, led the members to project and manufacture new models.

In 2000 the company moved to a new plant in the industrial area of Torriana (12 km far from Rimini), expanding its productivity area and thus improving its production capacity.

In 2003 Socomec acquired the know-how of a well-known company of the woodworking sector, i.e. “TOP MASTER”, by enhancing its knowledge, its skills, its operative and technological resources and further by widening its range of machinery.

In 2012, after many years of close collaboration, Socomec acquired the whole property of the manufacturer “BFM”, i.e. slot mortisers and edge sanding machines.

Over the years, the company have recorded a rather considerable technical and commercial development, spreading both into the national and into the international market, thanks to a network of dealers and distributors worldwide.
